Class 2 Visits Fire Station 2
Class 2 LINC program visited Fire Station 2. The firefighters welcomed the participants warmly, who were excited to share their knowledge and expertise.
During the visit, the firefighters provided an informative and engaging tour of the station. The group had the opportunity to see the fire trucks up close, explore the equipment, and learn about the various tools used by firefighters in their daily operations.
The highlight of the visit was an in-depth session on fire safety. The firefighters stressed the importance of having working smoke detectors in homes and demonstrated how to test and maintain them. They also shared crucial fire safety tips, such as the "Stop, Drop, and Roll" technique and the importance of having an escape plan in case of a fire emergency.
Throughout the tour, the LINC participants asked many questions, gaining valuable insights into fire prevention and safety measures. They left the station with a deeper appreciation for the firefighters' role in the community and the importance of being fire-safe.
